About Genesis Woods
Genesis Woods, also known as Valencia (Genesis) Woods, is an AI systems architect, consultant, developer, educator, and entrepreneur based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Turning curiosity into capability
A career built by learning, building, and teaching.
Technology entered Genesis's life at age four. She built her first computer at thirteen and started a website business at sixteen, an early sign of the self-directed approach that still defines her work.
Her professional journey grew through training operations, enterprise learning systems, automation, customer education, web development, and AI. She has administered learning systems serving 42,000 users.
Her mission is to make complex technology practical: systems people can use, learning experiences that build confidence, and paths for professionals who did not follow a traditional technology route.
Her work is grounded in faith, resilience, responsible experimentation, and the belief that curiosity can become capability, and capability can become opportunity.
